In this critical times of transition, Eletech proudly introduces the PBmaX series of IP-Enabled PBX systems. Please note that the PBmiX is a scaled down version of the PBmaX, with a reduced function set.

Based on state-of-the-art embedded platforms with proven Linux core technology, these systems provide not only highly versatile and integrated telecom solutions, but also essential network services such as built-in router, firewall, DHCP server, Internet sharing, gatekeeper, VPN, and etc. Available with such powerful functions at most reasonable prices, these trendsetting devices will doubtlessly bring new meanings to telecommunication for companies of all sizes.

Analog and Digital: Best of Both Worlds
PBmaX provides analog switching for traditional (local) PBX operations, with the following advantages over network based switching:

* Replace old PBX systems without the need for new wirings.
* Use inexpensive analog telephones instead of expensive digital ones.
* Connect fax and other single line devices with no additional hardware.
* Voice quality is better, more consistent, and not subject to network conditions.
* Operation is not interrupted in the event of network breakdowns.

PBmaX provides digital, IP-based switching for remote extensions and VoIP calls.

* Link multiple locations together via VoIP channels.
* Remote extensions can be reached as easily as the local ones.
* Save long distance charges by making on-net and/or off-net calls.
* Improved voice quality with QoS (Quality of Service) support.

Distributed Architecture
For companies with multiple locations, PBmaX systems can be linked together over the Internet via built-in VoIP channels. This feature allows remote extensions to be reached as easily as the local ones, with huge savings in long distance charges. It is also possible to make trans-net calls to/from PSTN numbers via remote extensions, resulting in even more savings.

PBmaX systems are designed to work together seamlessly when multiple systems are linked together under intranet environment.
