EM420E1 is specifically designed for
elevator announcement application. It contains a VM420E1 sound board and an interface board in a heavy duty metal enclosure. Up to 127 different messages can be played back from the internal, nonvolatile memory chips. By
monitoring the signals from the elevator’s controller, EM420E1 makes the proper announcement such as the moving direction, the floor number, and certain safety/warning messages.
