EM1420 is specifically designed for elevator announcement application. It contains a VM1420 sound board and an interface board in a heavy duty metal enclosure. Up to 20 different messages can be played back from the internal, nonvolatile memory chips. By monitoring the signals from the elevator’s controller, EM1420 makes the proper announcement such as the moving direction, the floor number, and certain safety/warning messages.
