Recording is voice activated and files are saved via USB to a host computer. Files can then be accessed on the host computer or from mobile devices. In order to achieve optimal recording quality, signal levels must be adjusted properly. The unit offers separate RX/TX gain control with both hardware and software signal strength indicators to facilitate the adjustment. VUB-100B draws power from the host computer via a MicroUSB connection. Its compact size and low power consumption makes it suitable for both mobile and stationary applications.
